See Coparia in your phone's calendar

You do not have to check Coparia to know what is on. It can appear alongside everything else in the calendar app you already use.

Everything here is under Settings, then Calendar sync.

Show Coparia in another calendar app

1. Open Settings, then Calendar sync.
2. Under Subscribe to this calendar, select Create a link.
3. Copy the link.
4. In Google Calendar, Apple Calendar or Outlook, add a calendar by URL and paste it.

Your phone checks the link for changes, so it keeps up to date on its own. Add an event in Coparia and it appears there without you doing anything again.

Anyone who has the link can see what it includes, without signing in. Treat it like a password. If you send it to the wrong person, remove the link and create another, which stops the old one working straight away.

Take a one-off copy instead

Under Download a file there is an .ics file. It is a snapshot, so it will not update when the calendar changes. Useful for a printout or a record, not for staying in step.

Show another calendar inside Coparia

Follow a calendar brings another calendar’s events onto yours, kept up to date. A school calendar or a public holidays calendar are the usual ones.

Followed events cannot be edited here, and they are not part of your family’s record. To stop, select Stop next to the calendar’s name.

Move everything from another app

Bring a calendar in, once copies events across as real events you can edit, rather than as a followed calendar. That is the one to use when you are moving off another app for good.

Select Import a calendar file, then drop the .ics file you exported from the other app onto the window, or select Choose a file.

When it does not work

Your phone shows nothing yet. Subscribed calendars are not instant. Google in particular can take several hours to check a new link for the first time, and there is nothing on this end that changes that.

An event you deleted is still there. Same reason. It goes at the next check.

You want the events to be editable. A subscribed link is read only by design. Use Bring a calendar in, once instead.
